So that you can download large files directly onto 1.44MB floppy
disks, larger files have been 'spanned' across two or more files that
will each fit onto a 1.44MB formatted floppy diskette.

This service is to help those who do not have a direct Internet utility
except in e.g. a library or cybercafe, where floppy diskettes may be
the only removable media allowed.

NOTE!! YOU MUST ALSO DOWNLOAD THE SPLITTER.EXE WINDOWS UTILITY!! This
is only 58KB and is designed to fit onto your floppy Disk #1. THE DISKETTE
ZIP FILES ARE USELESS WITHOUT THE SPLITTER UTILITY.

Back home, copy all files into a new folder, including the Splitter.exe utility. 

Then use Windows Explorer to 'drag' ANY of the downloaded diskette
filenames onto the filename splitter.exe. Click 'Unsplit' and the WHOLE fileset
will be rejoined and recreated in the desired location.

Note, Splitter is freeware and can be used to both split or join files onto
diskettes.
