This design enables PIC microcontroller circuits to be enhanced
by the addition of a low-cost infra red sensor plus software. The
operation of the PIC can then be selected via a remote control
handset. This may be preferable to using external interface switches.

Based on the Sharp IS1U60 3-terminal infra red sensor i.c., please
check availability in your country before commencing construction.
