Fading Christmas Lights by Bart Trepak -------------------------------------- Everyday Practical Electronics, December 1998 This neat constructional project uses a PIC16C54 to provide sophisticated 'fading' for your christmas-tree lights. It could also be used for exhibition work, parties, discos - anywhere that needs a gradually fading/ blending light show. Mains operated, transformerless supply, with suppressed three- channel triac outputs. A PCB carries most of the mains interwiring and helps ensure safe assembly. However the constructional article contains essential safety advice which must be adhered to.
