Versatile Event Counter by John Becker -------------------------------------- Everyday Practical Electronics/ ETI April 1999 This PIC-powered design is capable of monitoring the timing of a whole variety of events. The results are displayed a liquid crystal display. Input via a panel-mounted switch, or a jack-socket to external circuits, or by a microphone - the design has been found to be extremely responsive to some astonishingly low level audio sources detected by microphone. Displays elapsed time(s) and frequency count. Useful for musicians, rowing rates, object counting and so on.
