PIC-A-Tuner by John Becker Everyday Practical Electronics Magazine May 1997 ------------------------------------------------ The EPE PIC-A-Tuner is a highly accurate microcontrolled tuning aid for all electronic and acoustic musical instruments. It has an l.c.d. display for simple use and will accept signals from: * square wave frequency output from a digital musical instrument (e.g. synthesiser) * analogue electronic instrument e.g. electric guitar * any acoustic instrument via a microphone built-in to the EPE PIC-A-tuner Use the plain-english l.c.d. display to tune up quickly and easily! Tuner213.asm is the source code for the PIC16C84 eeprom microcontroller used for the PIC-A-Tuner. This is available available from ftp://ftp.epemag.wimborne.co.uk/pub/PICS/PICatuner Software is unsupported and is supplied 'as is'.
