An all-new Moving Message & Graphics Display project from EPE. This modular form project can be built pretty much to whatever size and format one prefers. Our PICmicro based project is programmable for its display type and content from a PC computer. Requires Serial port (not USB compatible).

Each 5x7 LED matrix module is 52mm high and 38mm wide. There can be up to 128 such modules, each controlled by its own PIC. Displays can be interlocked into rows or rectilinear areas instead. A row of 128 displays would be 4.8 metres long! A rectangular display of 24 displays wide x 5 high would be 91cm x 26cm high.

The LED Display retains the programmed code in memory even after it has been powered down.
